    Il y a peu – le 12 mars 2014 – la République tchèque fêtait le 15ème anniversaire de son entrée dans l’OTAN. Cependant, le vrai processus tchèque d’intégration dans l’Alliance atlantique débuta bien avant, en mars 1994, quand Vaclav Klaus, le Premier ministre de l’époque, signa le document d’adhésion au Partenariat pour la Paix. Avec enthousiasme, la République tchèque s’engageait ainsi à progressivement préparer ses forces à l’intégration dans une Alliance déjà vieille de 45 ans.
